Name: iraqcars_session. This cookie keeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly, SameSite is Lax, and it is marked Secure when the site is served over HTTPS. It lasts 30 days. It holds a signed session token for your account, not your password.
Currency preference
Name: currency. This cookie remembers whether prices are shown in Iraqi dinar (IQD) or US dollars (USD). It lasts one year and applies across the site. If it is missing, Iraq Cars uses IQD.
Analytics
Opening a page stores a page-view record in Iraq Cars' own database. The record is the path of the page. It is not stored in a cookie, and it is not sent to an outside analytics company.
Compare list
The compare list is saved in your browser's local storage under the name iraqcars-compare. It is not a cookie. It stays on your device until you remove those cars from compare or clear site data for Iraq Cars.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the session cookie signs you out. Blocking the currency cookie means prices stay in IQD until you choose a currency again.
